About Us
Our Motto
"Family with a world vision" :: We work hard at relationships. We believe that the key to
fulfilling the Great Commission is building
a strong community of faith where healthy relationships and families can grow. It is within the context of unity and fellowship
that we endeavor to advance the Kingdom of God.
Our History
In Fuquay-Varina, NC, Michael Cotten was a lawyer happily running the law practice he had once shared with his father. Using his wife, Gloria, God began to convict Michael's heart
and provoke him to salvation. A few years after being born-again and baptized in the Holy Spirit, people began to gather in the Cotten's home for prayer and fellowship. Before long, a small church was born in the Cottens' home. In 1982, Michael Cotten sold
the family law practice to enter ministry full-time.
In 2001, Jubilee Fellowship was turned over to their eldest son, Sam Cotten. In 2003 Jubilee Fellowship became Bethel Church. The new name marked the transition to a new pastor and a new vision.
On
April 6, 2008, Pastor Sam went on to further his education and the pastoral
leadership of Bethel Church was given to Jonathan Fletcher.
